Marketing Yourself

The first step in the pursuit of your first position should be taken long before graduation. By your third or fourth year in school you should have begun to identify career goals and the options that fit your plans. Once you’ve begun to narrow your focus, you’re ready to start creating a resume and making contacts. In this section of "Career Advocate for the New Practitioner," you’ll find suggestions to help you market yourself in an appropriately professional way.
